LANJIGARH

VAL is committed to the social well being of communities in the peripheral villages of Lanjigarh, the site of bauxite mining and the alumina refinery plant. Till date, the company has implemented various development projects in 53 villages in the districts of Kalahandi and Rayagada (the adjacent districts of Lanjigarh) where approximately 10,000 people have benefited. The main focus areas are health, education, livelihood generation, infrastructure and environmental sustainability.
