Mr. Anil Agarwal, is the founder of the Vedanta Group. He is on the Board as the Director of the Company. He is also on the Board of Vedanta Resources Plc., UK as its Executive Chairman, Sterlite Industries (India) Limited as its Chairman, Sterlite Technologies Limited as its Chairman, Bharat Aluminium Company as its Chairman, Sterlite Energy Limited as its Chairman and The Anil Agarwal Foundation as its Director.

Mr. Navin Agarwal, is on the Board as the Director of the Company. He has done the Owner/President Management Programme at Harvard University and has a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Sydenham College, Mumbai. He has over 23 years experience in business strategy, managing overall performance and growth of the Company. He is also on the Board of Vedanta Resources Plc., UK, as its Deputy Executive Chairman, Sterlite Industries (India) Limited as its Executive Vice-Chairman, The Madras Aluminium Company Limited as its Chairman, Sterlite Iron & Steel Company Limited as its Director, Konkola Copper Mines Plc., as its Chairman, Hindustan Zinc Limited as its Director, Bharat Aluminium Company as its Vice-Chairman, Sterlite Infrastructures Private Limited as its Director, Sterlite Infrastructure Holdings Private Limited as its Director, Vedanta Resources Holding Limited as its Director and Vedanta Resources Investment Limited as its Director. Mr Navin Agarwal is a member of the Finance Standing Committee of the Board.

Mr. Tarun Jain, is on the Board as the Director of the Company. He is a fellow member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and Institute of Company Secretaries of India, besides being a Graduate of the Institute of Cost and Works Accountants of India. He is also on the Board of Sterlite Opportunities and Ventures Limited as its Director, Bharat Aluminium Company as its Director, Twinstar Holdings Limited as its Director, Sterlite USA Inc. as its Director, Sterlite Infra Limited as its Director and Vedanta Medical Research Foundation as its Director.

Mr S K Roongta is on the Board as the Managing Director of the Company. He has an experience of 4 decades with SAIL and has held several key positions in marketing division before being elevated to the SAIL Board as Director (Commercial) in 2004 and later as Chairman in August 2006. During his tenure of 4 years as Chairman, the company achieved several new landmarks in operational and financial performance and also initiated several modernization and growth plans. Mr Roongta is BE (Electrical) from BITS Pilani and is a gold medalist in PGDBM (International Trade) from IIFT, New Delhi. He is also a fellow member of All India Management Association. He also holds important positions in various apex chambers.

Mr M Siddiqi is on the Board as the Director of the Company. He joined Vedanta in 1991 and was responsible for Vedanta's Copper Rod plant. He then moved to the Copper smelter and refinery at Tuticorin and subsequently to the Aluminium business at Korba where he was responsible for the overall commissioning of the Korba plant as Project Director. Prior to joining the Group, Mr Siddiqi held senior positions in Hindustan Copper Limited. He has over 32 years of industry experience, including more than 15 years at senior level project management positions within Vedanta. Mr Siddiqi received his Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, New Delhi.

Mr. Pramod Suri is on the Board of the Company as its Whole Time Director & Chief Executive Officer. He has a Masters degree in Chemical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi. He joined the Company in September 2004 as the Sr. Vice-President (Operation) and Head of the new Smelter Plant of the Company at Korba. He was in charge of the operations of the Company in December 2006 and in charge of the Aluminium operations of the Group in March 2008. He was earlier employed in JK Industries Ltd. (Tyre Division) as its Vice-President, Works and prior to that, he held positions in the Indian Aluminium Company Limited, CEAT Limited and Goodyear South Asia Tyres Pvt. Ltd. He is on the Board of Sterlite Energy Limited as its Whole Time Director, Bharat Aluminium Company as its Director, Vedanta Medical Research Foundation as its Director and Lanjigarh Project Area Development Foundation as its Director.
